Beating January and the Winter Blues

 

Sometimes, it becomes necessary to make like a turtle and go inside our shells to recharge and take on a new year’s set of goals by storm.

     

     Especially in the winter months (December-February.)

    This is the season of shedding, hibernation and transformation.

    (Kinda misleading when you think of a traditional new year resolution.) 

    This misconception of planting new intentions and expecting to bear immediate results in this season is far from what nature tells use to be true.

    Following the flow of nature is one sure way to ensure you’re in sync with your highest vibration just as nature is in it’s effortless state of perfectly being. Just take a minute to notice how we do not need to do a thing yet every ant, bird and tree knows how to play it’s part  in being beautiful and functional so effortlessly.

    Here are 5 Simple Ways to Beat the January Blues. 

    1. Give yourself Grace- Feeling blue in January is VERY normal due to the cold weather, dark mornings and immense pressure to start off the New Year perfectly!
    2. Make a Plan and Be Flexible to Adapt - Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance but let’s keep it real. The universe will always have a plan of its own but by crossing off your daily to dos starting with the toughest task of the day, you will build up the motivation to keep your days productive productive!
    3. Self and Body Care - Your temple(I body) is the only one you will ever have. Try to give yourself time and space for low Impact Exercise Daily Meditation and stretching. Increasing blood flow through the body is a sure way to pump up the endorphins and get you back in the game mentally!h
    4. Show Active Gratitude- Both aloud with daily Affirmations and through written word.Words are powerful and the simplest, most direct, way to express gratitude to the now. 
    Why do you think they call it Spelling?   
       After weeks of back to back holiday partying and shopping with friends and family, a few weeks of spending quality time with yourself and immediate family to FOCUS on the home, personal space and Basic Necessities is ALWAYS a great way to recharge and refresh your Root Chakra in preparation for the ENORMOUS amount of abundance being place on your life this year.  
     

    Set a STRONG Foundation. 

     

    Life is a Journey, a Marathon. NOT a Destination.

    Just remember, stay in YOUR race and show gratitude everyday! 

     By taking our time to openly embrace every twist and turn, tear and  laughter with the fullest of intention and presence, life becomes more fulfilling each day!
