5 Ways to connect with WATER in your daily practice and cleanse your spiritual energy!

It’s amazing how refreshing the start of a new year can feel even though the idea of time is man made concept (pinning that discussion for later).
(Go figure) but seriously though… today marks page 7/365 into the new year, new goals, new visions and healthy new lifestyle routines! One of my favorite ways to get back centered and attuned with my highest vibration is to reconnect with my daily self care routine for both morning and evening, get back on some sort of schedule and DRINK MY WATER.
Let’s be honest, could you be drinking more water regularly? If you don’t monitor your daily intake, chances are the answer is yes!
Water is a feature of the natural world that has been a centerpiece of spiritual symbolism and religious ritual in human communities for thousands of years.
They say… one drop of water can hold secrets to the entire Ocean.
Water is LIFE.
Stay Hydrated in 2022
Give Blessings to any water you come in contact with. The theory of “water memory” supports that water can hold the imprint or “memory” of a substance that once passed through it. This idea is further explored by Japanese author Masaru Emoto who suggests that human consciousness has an effect on the molecular structure of water. He suggests that blessings and prayers can change the molecular structure of water and give it more vitality. Basically, by giving thanks to water we can potentially purify its molecular structure to increase the effects of long term health benefits.
Drink warm water (TEA) mindfully 10-15 minutes after waking up and going to bed. This gives the digestive system that extra boost to work at its best and absorb foods nutrients much more effectively.
Get a water fountain. In feng shui, using a water fountain in your personal space helps to move energies and increase prosperity. Try placing one somewhere by your front door (either indoors or outside) to keep the good qi flowing.
Alternate between Hot/ Cold Showers
When the body is submerged in different temperatures of water It has been shown to increase circulation, speed healing, promote lymphatic drainage, and boost the immune system.
Respect the water
Take time to infuse our water with lemon, limes, fruits, basil, mint or cucumber to give a light earth taste. Use a glass container to observe and reflect on the purity and simple beauty of the water, so that you feel connected and appreciative with each sip.
Water is such a precious gift from Mama Earth and we must appreciate its gift of life and ability to cleanse away the dirty energy that can be adopted throughout life’s many changes.
